Starting Perhesafarit
Perhesafarit was founded in 1993, with family-run safari operations from a small red cottage in the heart of Sirkka village
First 4-stroke snowmobile
In 2001, we introduced the first 4-stroke snowmobile into our fleet to enhance safety and environmental sustainability in our tours
New Safari House
The old red cottage grew too small, and we needed more space. Our new safari house was completed in 2002, providing a central hub for our team and guests

All rides are conducted on designated trails to protect the delicate natural environment. We have a strict no idling policy. Our snowmobiles are never left idling unnecessarily, which helps reduce emissions and conserve fuel.
We are committed to a “Leave No Trace” principle, ensuring that all waste is collected and properly disposed of, leaving the natural surroundings as pristine as we found them.
Modern Fleet
Our fleet features modern four-stroke snowmobiles, which are more fuel-efficient and produce fewer emissions compared to older models. Our snowmobiles are regularly maintained to prevent oil leaks and minimize environmental harm
